Prayer for 2008 Almighty God, I lift before your heart of love, the churches across out great land, our leaders, our pastors, and our people. I pray that each of us cast aside our vain philosophies and simply, go back to Jesus. We need to put him back at the heart of preaching not just theology, not just the ills of society, but Jesus. Revive each Christian that we all may become more involved in the deliverance of the lost, and suffering humanity. Anoint us afresh and new. Invigorate our hearts and lives with your Spirit, Father. Help us to become more action oriented for your service. I pray that you will cause a revival that shall sweep across our nation reconciling people’s hearts to you. Bless the WMU and Men’s ministries to prosper as they meet their goals for the needy. Father protect us and keep us safe. Forgive our sins in Jesus name. Amen Ladelle Weeks Sister-In-Christ |
